What are the things you do when it rains?

During my younger days I enjoyed watching the rain pouring, it's relaxing. But now, I prefer to just stay home when there's nothing urgent to do outside. Read and do mylot ;) It's raining here now...

Hi, When I was small, my mother always advised me not to play with rain water and I always have to stay indoor during raining,my mother is worried that I will fall sick after playing with rain water. Oh...I never know about the belief that you mentioned above..is it real? Normally during raining season, the best thing to do is eat some hot and spicy food or laze at home watching TV or sleep.

I don't play in the rain anymore, but if I get to walk in it, it does not seem too outrageous, as long as I can change clothes before next.

After some serious days of severe hot weather, if its not raining too hard, I will work in the yard. Love it. I cannot work in the hot weather. I also am so glad to see the rain sometimes, that I just stay outside and let it fall on me for a little bit.

Well when it starts raining I usually dig out the board games.We as a family play games like monolopy,clue and mousetrap.We enjoy each others company and get a chance to really talk and laugh and just have plain old fashioned fun.To many of us now are on a cell phone all day and rarely get togeather to socialize.We should learn to have fun in old fashioned ways like board games, riding bikes and taking walks.I really hope to reduce the amount of time i am on the computer and do some outdoor activiteis with my friends.

I love it when it rains especially when i'm home because it makes me smile remembering the times (just like you) when i used to play in the rain when i was a child. I like hearing sound of raindrops it bring back lot of memories. I like it when it rains, but i hate being caught in a heavy downpour and i'm stuck in traffic.

I hang out inside and try to write here on mylot or do some of my other online money-making activities. I will also take a nap if I feel like it, or I will read a book or watch TV or something like that. I will also play with my puppy dogs if they are not napping as well.

When it rains, i sleep when I was in my place. Or sometimes I just watch movies, eat, sing, or play my flute. When it rains and I am in my place is always an opportunity for me to rest and do things I am comfortably doing. :-)

nothing...just watching TV till sleep oh before i fall asleep i might need a bowl of noodle :) and a hot tea to accompany the noodle

I like to stay home and be on my lot and watch the rain outside the windows and watch a good movie!!

I tend to relax and kick back and wait for the rain to stop. Hopefully it will not rain all that much. Never really liked the rain ever, even when I was young. It just meant that I could not go outside all that much if it really picked up. Plus, there is just something about dismal weather in general that really puts me to sleep. Perhaps it is just me, but there is a lot about these dreary days. Still, I take a chance to get some much needed work done indoors if there is something to be done. Or I just see if there is anything good on television and I surf on the Internet. Just something to really keep myself busy, until the worst of the rain is done and then I can get on with the rest of my life and enjoying life at that. Still rain, it really saps the energy from me.

When I was a child my mom won't allow me to go out and play with the rain, we used to sing my brothers and sisters favorite song "Rain, Rain, Go Away, come again another day..

I love to listen and watch the rain, it's really realxing. I've been out playing in it a couple of times, and it was a lot of fun :) I especially like it, though, if it rains (or storms) during the night, when I'm already in bed. It's just so nice to lie down, all warm and cozy, and listen to the rain and the thunder :)

When I was a child, I usually stay at home and play with my brother and sister. But now, that I already have work, I still have to go to work that sometimes I get stranded when heavy rain pours down. When this happens, I usually stay in a convenient store and drink hot coffee.

When I was a child, I use to bathe in the rain, we can go outside and run while raining, that's one of my happiest experience as a child, now all I like to do when raining is to sleep or watch tv or movie at home. Drinking hot chocolate is a good idea too.

It was raining earlier here in California and thundering too! I love rain, I usually stay indoors, cuddle and watch tv :) I am pretty lazy when it comes to rainy days but I love the smell of rain and the ability to fall asleep so easily!

I only play computer games when it rains. First I'm going to take a good cold shower then I'm going to make a cup of coffee. While I was still feeling cold, I was drinking this cup of coffee while playing computer games. It feels really good when you are feeling cold and try to keep yourself warm. It's really nice to sleep when raining but I don't it during daytime because I'm feeling sick when after I woke up from my daytime sleep. So I only take a long sleep during night. And if its raining, that gonna be a really really long sleep. -)
