What will the world be like in 10 years?

I've been seeing so much lately about people preparing for the worst. People talking of an economic collapse or a terrorist attack. People are talking about planning for a possible pandemic etc.
Do you see something catastrophic like this happening in our upcoming future or is it all hype? Why or why not?
Thanks for looking and responding.

I am not sure what will happen in ten years. I do think people are always scared of what they think might happen. I know people who have stocked up food because they're afraid of what might happen. I am not sure what to make of all of this to be honest. I believe that we should all be financially prepared, but living in fear is a bad thing.

Definitely. I agree it's great to be prepared but what kind of life do we have if its spent worrying about what MIGHT happen next. Thanks for responding.

Yes and then how silly we feel after nothing did happen!

In 10 years, I am expecting myself to be a manager of my own business and a husband to a beautiful wife and maybe have some children already. I have a great hopes that the coming years will be fruitful for me.
My future plans are always included on my prayers.
