How many hours do you work daily?I heard that most common problem to sleep is work related worries. Are you happy with your work?Does your work related worries come in the way of your sleep?
Is it because of the work load or is it because of your Boss or is it because of your colleagues?

There are really lots of problems in the office and its part of the work to solve all of these. But there are also these office problems that you cannot solve like the Boss problem. I don't let my work stress me even how much of problem it gives and when time to sleep comes, I don't bother thinking about it. Because this is already my time, the time for my body to rest after all that work. Sometimes problems aren't solve within the day too and even after rendering overtime so I'll just have to continue tomorrow. I have already experience that when one of our computer servers failed. We were working for 4 days straight from 8AM to 2AM. As I got home tired and exhausted, I was able to sleep quickly. I know that there is still a problem tomorrow but I don't worry about it all. I just keep on my mind that worrying about the problem now won't solve or even help in solving the problem.

My working hours vary as per the type of assignments and the number of pages it runs into. At times I have to do reference. That can take time. But normally I work for about 6 to 8 hours each day. At times 10. I am ok with random working hours as of now. I dont really worry much because I have a friend circle. They undertake to do some work if for some reason I am not likely to complete it as per schedule. Effectively, I can offload the work. :)

Hi Vandy
What kind of work do you do?
It sounds interesting to know that you work on assignments. Is your work home based or you go the office?

Krupesh, really!!! I have friends who take over any assignment that I cant complete. :)
I really dont know why people feel like helping me - especially nowadays. I am kind of blessed I guess. :) You be good to me in this life, in next life god will keep sending people like that to you. :)
@bamrahkirti - if I remember right - you are a chartered accountant? You might find writink dot com interesting. They pay almost six months after your task has been approved. But they pay. :) But if you are interested in biotechnology rewriting works, just PM me. My madam will love to have some people in the group. :) You can negotiate your terms with her. I am pretty senior there. :)
And yes, it is a home based job. I also work on mturk, which I am told is off limits now for Indians. So I guess, I was lucky enough to get in there. Periodically, I do tasks here. :)

NOTHING affects my sleep.
I don't work for a boss.
I am VERY happily married and my husband causes me no worries.
I am asleep as soon as I get comfortable in bed, which is no time at all. I sleep soundly and wake refreshed and happy to start another day after 6-7 hours of sound sleep.

I work eight to ten hours a day, and am quite frequently worried about it. I have a lot to do, and so I end up stressing about it at night. My boss is awesome though, as are my colleagues so that does help, but still, there is just too much going on sometimes to cope well.

Right now I do not work for anyone, but in the past I have worked for a few companies where the problems kept me up. Most of them were so silly. It's amazing how much office politics one has to put up with when working for companies. That's one reason I have no desire to go back to that.

The hours that I work daily at my main job (the one that causes me stress, that is) could be anywhere from 3-12 hours a day! Or maybe even none depending on the need. I usually get 35-40 hours a week, though, which is nice enough money-wise. I sometimes have STRESS over work related drama with our "corporate office" and how shady they can be sometimes, but generally I don't lose much sleep over work..I don't get paid enough for that! lol

Being a stay at home mother, I am on call 24 hours a day every day of my life. However, it isn't the kids that keep me asleep at night. Instead, it is worries over things like our budget that keep me from getting a good night's sleep most of the time. Now, for my husband, I know he has a hard time sleeping because of his work. His bosses are great, but they are constantly stressing him out and that does make it difficult for him to be able to sleep.

Hiya krupesh,
Before I sometimes took my worries about Work home with me but that was ages ago. I donĀ“t do that now and I sleep much better since I have done that.
It never fails that method. I just think quit thinking and worrying about that and especially late at night.
So have a great Weekend all.

I don't work for a boss, sweetie.
I work up to 14 hours a day, so sleep isn't a problem for me.
I don't really have problems that will affect my sleep.
