what do you feel and do when no one responds?

i always feel happy when even just one will respond to my discussions. at least it helps me understand what i have written is something interesting. but sometimes, i don't get any response at all. i feel a little sad why no one caught attention to respond to my discussion. well, on the contrary, i would still think that somebody may have read it. and that stops my feeling of being upset.

Well, it is a bit disheartening to say the least when no one responds. I wonder what I might have done wrong. Of course, it is very easy to get a topic buried underneath the countless masses at this website that are posted on a day to day basis at a website like myLot. Still, it is really frustrating to put a lot of time and energy into crafting a topic and there are very few people posting. Still, it is a learning experience. There are times where there are going to be setbacks. It is important to learn. I have learned a far amount of what in general works by posts that don't get much feedback or gets a lot of feedback. I say in general, because there are just sometimes where what we think is true, is not true. Still, chalk it up as a learning experience, no matter how disheartening it is.

yes megamatt. i just have to accept the fact that is similar to this "we cannot please everybody". some say yes, others say no, well, it doesn't matter. that's life.

well, it really is a bit saddening when no one would respond to our discussions. But maybe like you said, others have come across it and didn't respond. Well, we can't do anything about it and just hope that whatever we post next would be something others would be inclined to respond to. happy mylotting and have a nice day :)

it happens to me too. i get interested with a topic and as soon as i read the content, sometimes, i just don't feel responding to it. so i move on to another thread. that's life. that's mylot too. as long as i deliver my experience one way or another. i'm okay.

I do feel sad when I see nobody responds to a topic which has been up for more than a day. But it will be responded eventually, but it takes time, indeed. So, here's my response. Hope it can cheer you up, too!

hey thanks Ramaditya. at least you shared your feelings and hope at the same time. this is a good character i think. to be flexible and be able to accept reality and later to cope up with it. great day ahead of you.

I'll make you happy by responding. It does make me a little sad if no one responds. I feel alone. But then again I don't start discussions very much

well appreciated chookie. yes, i was like the only one online or i have no one at all if that happens. much more than thinking that i was not able to deliver my thoughts clearly. just a bit frustrating but i should not. coz i knew, someone at least has read the title of my discussion.

Hi, It makes me feel very sad. If you check the discussions I have started, you will see some of them are of great value, however, I keep checking to see if someone has responded to the discussion. When I see that there has not been a single response it makes me sad. Yet it gives me hundred reasons why not to start a discussion on those topics. So, be cool and keep experimenting. You will surely start getting plenty of responses

hi there chhetp1. yes, since in i still consider myself as newbie. i haven't done that much yet. so i am trying to make time to explore mylot more when it comes to making conversations interesting and eyecatching. this i can achieve one way by reading and responding more.
