I am already 17 but I haven't had one girlfriend!
Actually,I am a humorous person. But while dating with girls,I would always be shy and feel at a loss.I even don't know how to express my feelings.
I am really puzzled about that, can someone give me some suggestions?

I am 17 also. She is my first date. My 8th year girlfriend. And now my wife and mother of my son. My advice to you is just be natural, just be you. So you will not end up as a lier. Girls realy want a true person inside and out. Who you are in your friends and with your family.

Oh wow, I feel like such a weirdo after reading the other responses. I was nine when I started what was to be a four year relationship with someone four years older than me. I had my first kiss at nine.
It coincides well with the fact that I was engaged at 17 and married at 20 (with a different man, now five years older). I think I started dating early because I had a higher level of maturity than most my age...for some reason I've always felt that I've fast forwarded five to ten years in mental growth. I was bored with childhood by nine so I started dating...bored with school by fifteen so I started a real estate business.
Contrary to what this sounds like, though, I kept my intelligence and morals. I remained a virgin until I was married, as did my husband. Usually when I tell people about my long term relationship that started before I turned ten they think that could have only led to trouble in my later years.
As for the others on this page and those like them, however, my advice is not to rush it. Until you find someone that you have respect for and can possibly envision married, why date? Don't waste your time with someone you can't imagine being with for the rest of your life. A lot of people my age date consistently until they are fed up. Don't worry about not dating at your ages--focus on finding someone you will have at forty and fifty years old that you can STILL count on, so you don't have to be dating at THAT age.

I started dating when I was 15... When I was sixteen I dated a guy for a year and three months.. it was a little of a long distance relationship as he lived like thirty minutes away but went to school only ten minutes away from me but I saw him every week. He took the bus to school, that's why.
Afterwards, I talked to another guy for six months and dated him officially for a few months. I do not consider it as a relationship though.
Then... I dated a guy for a few months and became official & now still in the relationship for over 3 and half years :)

Well, I started dating when I was 18 years old. That's the age when my parents allowed me to go on a date and have a boyfriend. My parents are so strict because I'm the only princess in the family with my four older brothers. :) Well, it was nice experience to have a date alone because when I was below 18, my parents were always with me even if the guy just invited me to watch a movie. Hahaha
