Dear friend, I do not feel that age has any part in love. Moreover I had seen some people with long age barrier, that too most women would be younger than men. But here this is first time I am to know that a person is going to marry a lady who is 10 years older. I hope the power of love is so powerful that age is nothing in front of it. But if one is not confident to make it well in long run I hope it would be bit hesitating. I feel love is and living with a person one who love depends entirely on that individuals choice, but if is a mature choice I hope it would be better.

it will last as long as you want it to. one of my friends parents have been married nearly 20 years they have 2 kids and the guy is 15 years older than woman and they are happy so age is not a decided in weather a relationship last.

I think that communication is the key to any good relationship. I've been involved with a man 11 years older (though sometimes he acts about 11 years younger!), and we have had our fair share of problems because of the lack of communication, or worse yet, miscommunications. Right now, the differences between us are really magnified, but those differences have to do with how our we raise our children--my daughter is in her last year of high school, and we are preparing to go out and view colleges. His sons have graduated, with one an Iraq vet, and the other will be going into another military program. Neither boy has considered college, but no one in their family has attended. My daughter's great-grandmother was a college graduate(!), so it is to be expected. Right now, my focus is on her and her future--he's just kept our relationship in a holding pattern too longer, and I'm ready to move on. But if we had better communications early on, I fully believe that it would have been a forever relationship, as least for me.

If your love are true and faithful no need to ask that question, there should no doubt anymore. God love us no matter how young or old we are it never change. God love our whole being not because we gained something. God always look at our best even though we at our worst. God love us no matter what... And his love always bring out the best in us... God's love never fails and will never worn out. That love should be... God bless you, I pray to God that you will start your relationship from now on without love... Love and trusting are the best thing why not waste a minute for doubt its such a waste of time and it is partly betrayal already... because True Love has a genuine and strong trust... Just keep the faith and put always God in the center of your lives and no doubt you will last forever. God bless.

I do not think age matters in a relationship that both of you are seriously committed and willing to work out things despite the ups and downs. I am in a 5-6 year age gap relationship where my boyfriend is older and my friends when I was in high school did not really accept it but now in college, all my friends do not really care because their boyfriends were also older and we had the same age gaps.. 3 years is a lot of time being together and I hope the best for you too :) I have been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years and the whole age group for us is still going well.

At present you will not face any problem since you are young but later when you grow surely you will face the problem, as you will start looking elder than your husband

they say age doesn't matter in love as long as they're happy together. My husband is ten years older than me but we get along well. If you and your partner are enjoying each other right now why worry for tomorrow? LIve today and enjoy your love while is still there!

i had a boyfriend who is 14 years my senior. everything in our relationship felt right but somehow it didn't last because as days went by, i started to discover that my reasons for convincing myself to like this guy are terribly wrong. since he was older, it is automatic for me to be babied most of the time. he would always let me have my way- i have sort of become spoiled. he doesnt make decisions without consulting me. it all was about him understanding me... efforts were from him... and i guess, i loved him because he never argues with me or that i always end up getting what i want and he couldn't do anything about it. i thought all along it was healthy for our relationship. then i was starting to feel bored with him... to make the long story short, i found a guy who is younger than he is, but a bit older than me...it's a given fact, older men are different from younger men and so are older women from younger women. i admit my fault here... lesson learned: don't love a guy for the wrong reasons; don't mistake understanding or being happy with someone as being in love. it could be just growing fond for that person.it is possible to have a big gap in age but i think it still depends on who is older or who handles the relationship better or how mature the younger person is if he involves himself with someone older.make sure you can handle developing a relationship with someone who is way older than you are. you can have differences in your views which could hinder growth. in the end, if the relationship was built on wrong reasons, there might be a tendency (like i did) to be looking for somebody who can fill in for the gap you thought was love (but in fact, was not)
