why do people make an acount on facebook using other's name and pictures?!

yea many people do this now, there may be few reason for that, first is that they know that person and dont like him/her and then they use their image to destroy their respect by writing dirty things or anything else. Secondly, that person is not that smart and uses a pretty image to get more friends.. Luckily I havent encountered anything like this yet

They are people who are insecure and trying to sabotage who! They are losers!!! Oh well, just report the fake profile and tell your online friends to ignore this profile or block.

Hi. shillamaenies. If someone is using someones personal information on their profile then that is sleazy and nasty! Why can't they use their own information? Some people just don't know when to quit, do they? It is very mean that a person will sabataoge someone in a mean and a hurtful way. If they are not this person then they should only use their own information.

The main disadvantage of online social networking is that it's so easy to create a fake profile and fool the people. Though its a cool tool, which connects two people who don't find time to meet or stay far away for each other. But it has its own disadvantages. It's the truth; "Every good thing has its own drawbacks". You have to deal with it. Just ignore those people, and continue with your facebook friend as earlier.

hello shiella :) There are people who do such nasty things to spoil other person's reputation, or cause harm by such means out of jealousy. Does your friend know the person who created her fake account ? and does the person have had any kind of relation with your friend in the past ? Like he proposed her and she said no or that person is girl and is jealous of your friend may be cause of multiple reasons. Such people need be sent to mental asylum or need proper counselling as they cowards who do not have the guts to face other people openly and do such things anonymously hiding themselves and their identities.

yes. that's true. May be they not want people know the truth about them. or May be they are very ugly, or related reason else.
