How long do you let your child play computer games for?

I have just realised my son has been on the play station for 2 hours. Oops. I normally monitor him, letting him have 1/2 hour slots at a time, maybe twice and evening. I know if I let him, he would be playing on it all evening. It does have it's uses, good for hand eye co-ordination but it cannot be good for children to do nothing else but play these games.
Do you put a time limit on your children?

Yes, definitely, I think we should and be obliged to put a limit to the number of hours that our child plays on the computer. My little sister, she is on the computer for several hours at a time, okay, maybe for at least 2-3 hours, she does get up sometimes for to get something or do a chore, but I still think she is on there for too long, particularly for these games that I see her play. I think what you're doing is very good, only allowing half an hour slots and limiting the total time per day. If the time is used for homework and a computer is needed, this can't be helped, but still regularly breaks is a very healthy thing :)
