Who is more imporatant in your LIFE GOD or PARENTS?

Obviously God is more important than parents. God gave the parents to us. He gave them also the inclination to love and care for us. He also takes care of the parents so that they have enough money,love and time to take care of us the children. Parents may pass away,abandon chilren,or may be incapable of taking care of the children. Not so is God. His love and care never fades,never fails and ceases.

Hello crazy_poster, I disagree. I beleive God is more important than parents. God is the one who gave them body to reproduce and have a baby in the first place. Parents are just guide along the path. If you are lucky you get good parents. What about the bad parents that do not like children or could care less about them. This is very jaded question. You are allowed your opinion but God is the one who created everything and take that life away from you at any given time or place. We are here on this very temporary in the grand schme of life. Parents can leave you astray or get you into cults or make you steal becuase they are very poor etc... Where God will never leave you astay as long as listen to him... Your point is only partially correct... parents always wish for the good of their children, but not all parents. There are several parents who leave their children and get engaged in other businesses. There are soo many people/children in orphanages. But the god is same for everbody and god always wish for good of his creatures. If you are going through hard situation it is because you had done something wrong somewhere in your past life.. and for the goodness you had done you will enjoy happiness in your life... it is your activities deciding how good/bad your life should be.. God can help you reduce the pain, but you must suffer for the bad you had done.. so, there is nothing logical in blaming god for your bad time.. God made this world comfortable for you to live, and god gave us the parents. Hence god is important than anyone or anything and nextly parents.. parents and all beings in this world are mortal, but god is immortal... some people lived here yesterday, they passed away and now we are living here, one day we will pass away leaving this world for the future comers... and this cycle goes on. :)

Well, i also think that parents are more important, infact i dont believe in god. I dont think that god exists in this worlds, parents are the one who gave us life and prays all their life for our goodness and happy live

Hi! Our parents is only HUMAN same with us. GOD is the CREATOR of everything. GOD made heaven and earth, darkness and light, sky and sea, plants and MAN and everything you see and everthing you have. Without Him, do you think you are here on earth together with your parents? We owe our life to HIM. We are here on earth for a purpose. God gave you your parents to guide you. So you are lucky and truly blessed cause your with your parents. You should love your parents but to treat them as your god or give more importance to them is WRONG. If you know the 10 commandments in the BIBLE, the first one is "You shall have no other gods before me"- so putting your parents first before GOD is really wrong... the fifth commandment "Honor your Father and Mother"- give your parents respect, honor them but don't put them in the pedestal and treat them as god, cause they are not. Trials in life, problems, sadness should not be treated negatively. Those things will help us to become stronger and help us to draw to God nearer. Carry your cross, LEAVE EVERYTHING and follow JESUS...(Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except thru HIM John 14:6).. God did'nt promise us to have a 100% good life here on earth, he promised us the EVERLASTING life with HIM thru our Lord Jesus Christ...So with your question, for me GOD is the NO.1 and the most important above evertything in my life..I hope I enlighten your mind somehow..HAPPY MYLOTTING!

In my life God is much more important than my parents. In my case my parents were much more interested in living their own life which did not include good parenting skills. That caused them to desert me and my upbringing was in the hands of a nanny. God never ever deserted me. He was there to comfort and protected me during my cold, uncaring childhood. My parents are long gone but my loving God it still with me and a very big part of my life.

I would have to say that in my life it is my parents. This isn't to say that God isn't very important in my life. However, if it wasn't for the relationship that I have with my parents and with the fact that my parents taught me about God from the time that I was a small child, I wouldn't know anything at all about God. I think that is the main reason that I say that my parents are more important in my life than God.

Hiya Crazy-Poster, For me both are important I don´t put any percentage on either they are just there. Well my Parents were there here I mean but now they are over there on other side of life. Most People I know are important in my life anyway so most times I really don´t separate one from the other. xxx

honestly for me my parents are more important than anyone else or even God. I can do anything for them. I have total beief in my parents and not God. We have never seen God and he never replies to our prayers so hwy give him importance? i would rather take care of my parents than believing in god.

Hi, I think first comes the parents and then the god.Parents are the one who teaches bad things and good things.They would scold us and advice not to repeat the same mistakes.They always want us to grow in an honest and sincere way.They are the one who advices us when we are depressed.They used to give ideas when we are confused in certain things.We should be also honest to them.When we grew up and have a god job getting salary we must help them.But these days we can see so many people not taking care about their parents and they think that due to their hard work they have achieved a high position in the society.But the real fact for his achievement would be his parents.So Parents come first then the god.In my life parents are more important first and then comes god.

You are right in saying parents are God..visible God ..God in flesh and blood.Seeing God in parents is the sure way of seeing God.The saying goes as"As God could not be at all places He created mothers" meaning they are equal to God though not more.When you are respecting parents and serving them you are in fact serving the God.There are many stories in Hindu mythology that sons made many sacrifices for the sake of parents.When you take an oath before parents you are sure to follow in the face of many odds.I am confident that all the Myloter will not only agree with you but also praise you in the heart of their hearts...

definitely for me parents is our god because god created mother and father and they are both important to me because our parents are the one who sacrifices everything for our sake and they are the one who make us happy and comfortable while god is our Savior, and merciful god....

There should be no conflict between parents and God, because it is part of the parents job to teach the children about God.

making God first does not mean you will give less importance to your parents. actually it's the other way around.

Hi Crazy Poster, I would like to disagree with you that the parents are far more important than our parents, because without God, where are the Parents? It's just a simple question as that. and for the thing that you said that God gave us life with both happy and sad and the parents always TRY to give us only a happy life. NO HUMAN IS PERFECT. All people even parents make mistakes, mistakes leads to sadness and it is not God who gave us the sad moments, it is us who makes our own lives. God gave us dominant out of all living things for he knows we'll do the right thing. I love my parents and they are important to me as well, but God is also important and I put God first. Above all the things I do, I always put God first. I hope somehow, somewhere, there is someone who will enlighten those who doesn't believe in him.

If it is more important then I choose parents because after I opened my eye I saw my parents. If they don't care me and rear me up then perhaps there will be no god before me. So it's their kindness that helps me to remain alive. It is they who first introduced me to god or what he/she is? So who comes first? Off course my parents. But god is an indispensable part of my life. I may say they are two faces of a coin to me and that coin is my life.

God is... it is the faith that God give me the parents whom would be responsible to raise me and take care of me. God gave me life through them and they took care of me til I am capable of living alone. In time I'd be independent and God is still there to look after me, guide me while I am away from my parents.

hello Crazy poster:) I would first like to know, who was that weird writer :D who wrote on such a weird topic creating more confusions for people, There cannot be any comparison between who is more important. "God cannot be everywhere, so he created parents" it is as simple as that. We indians are taught to respect parents first, Parents are equal to god here. So the debate who is important in your life is meaningless. you have to fulfill your responsibility towards your parents who are the form of god in your life. If you do that successfully you will be dear to that god himself.
