Do you think our entire lives are being controlled by TECHNOLOGY?

we have a natural tendence to search for convinence and confort. Technology can make our life easier than before, but I don't think these gadgets can control everything as long as we do not depond on them. I use to watch korean and Japanese drama for more than 10 hours a day. But now I do not want a television at all. I turn to cycling now~~

I would say yes, now a days life is completely controlled by technologies such as cell phones, cars, bikes, washing machines etc. Man has become addicted to the technology so much that now he cant even think about a life without these technologies

men are adoptable it just so happen that we are in stage where technology are needed to do more thins efficient, after all we created those machines to do more and easy the least, and don't believe that we cannot live without technology, if times comes we will adopt eventually..Men by nature are not controlled by anything it is the other way around.

I think that it's definitely going that way! I'm not as bad as some people though! I don't walk down the street holding a mobile phone to my ear although there's nothing wrong with that but it's not something I choose to do. Despite this I really do love technology and I'm really excited about the future. I think that technology has made life that much more convenient. I think things are going to get a lot worse! There's no doubt that the creation of advanced robots is in the pipeline and these will probably do things like carry out household chores and tasks in order to benefit the less able bodied! The only real bit of technology that I have in my own life is my computer obviously as well as my ipod touch and the most obvious, the Internet at home. I think that I would be going through a very tough time were I to lose access to these things. Andrew

There hasn't been a day of my life in which some form of technology hasn't been a part of it. Because of that fact, I do think that we as human beings are being controlled by technology. I couldn't begin to imagine what it would be like to not have a cellular phone after having carried one for the past thirteen years. In addition to that, the internet is my main connection to the outside world during the day while my husband is at work so I couldn't imagine having to do without that either.

yes is true^^ i think is hard to live without technology right now^^ bcs it really helps to be closer to people^^ cellphones are a big help even if you are in danger you can call someone for help. is not only texting friends and calling it also is a good help^^ and about computers and internet many people need that in their jobs^^ i cant imagine enterprises working without computers anymore bcs they have so many documents and all. technologies are very important nowadays^^ almost as important as taking shower everyday^^ ahah :)

i definitely agree with you. technology is not only make our life more comfortable, but it help you too to be more fun and efficient. I wonder if there is no washing machine....

Our lives get more and more complicated each day with new advances in technology. i would like to think it is only a small part of our lives. There has to be more to life than technology. I would hope that we are not being controlled by it.

Yes, modern technology has made man look crazy at times. When the cellphone was new, people used it almost every minute of the day, you see people walking by themselves and talking. What? You take a second look and you realize a bit too late that these people are talking to someone on the cellphone. Sometimes, they are surrounded by hundreds of people at a conference or convention, but they choose to stand at the farthest end of the venue and talk to their cellphones.

Well in a way yes I can agree with this. But it also depending upon the people that are in to the technology. Especially now that we are in the global crisis it hard to find jobs and a stable income. And some of it requires great deal of communication and services that technology can only offer.

hahaa ..... you are correct, I also often see people like crazy as you describe. I also often get angry if a power failure, because I could not open the internet, watching TV, playing games etc. that need electricity. I'm sure most people would find it difficult to live when there is no technology and are now most people have with technology dependence. For example otomotof technology. Is it possible that people will walk long distance without the technology (by foot )....??

On my own interpretation, I think we are not controlled by this so-called technology or gadgets. I think we are only dependent to it that when the service is not available our world seems to stop. Maybe, this is the first effect on us but as soon as we learn to detach ourselves from it, then we will learn that we can live in this world without it. We are dependent in the sense that we rely with this technology to help us in our daily lives. And getting ourselves away from it is a difficult task to handle.

I think technology is a big help but we should be responsible in using it.

i don't believe that our entire live are being controlled by technology, it up to us on how we manage our live when talking about technology,,,but what ever the things that you focus more you self is, that is your GOD, so if you focus your self on it, it means that it role a big part of your life,,i mean you cannot live your life with out it..

Yes in a way our lives are already controlled by Technology. Nevertheless should all these inovations in technology ceased then that does not mean we can no longer live. We will go back to the basics and will have some difficult time adjusting to the traditional way but sooner or later we will be able to live normally again. People can always adjust to whatever new things come their way. Yes it would be quite difficult but we can always manage.

I think yes without it life would be boring!

Well, i guess so because in our generations now are fond of upgrading the computers more to the highest level.. so for me our lives will be not controlled by technology but..generations are using high level technologies...LOL

hi!people nowadays are too much fond of high-technologies...As of now technologies are important in business and in some other ways.But I can live without the technologies.....

I cannot live my life without technology like computers, Internet etc. It would be very hard for me to do anything without the access to the Internet. Yeah, our lives cannot leave the technology,also the development of our world. Please imagine our society does the work without computers, how low effective our productivity would be. Therefore, I have to admit that our entire lives are being controlled by technology. We have no choice, because we create it so we should use it and enjoy it, right?

for me, technology is only a small part of our lives. it's just a matter that this is now what the world is depending. but it is still in you if you want technology conquers your life. but for me, still i can live without technology. i cannot only live without GOD behind us.
