Why to take shelter under a tall tree that is very dangerous when it rains?

I forget the lessons like this, I just thinking maybe because of the tall tree will be discharging the electrical charge and lightning like in a place like that, so lightning will grab the tree.
What are you thinking about it...do you have a simple logic without to open a book?

Hi. gengeni. Welcome to myLot! I guess hiding under a tall tree can be dangerous. Once the lightning hits the tree, it will cause it to fall down to the ground. And the tree will fall down on the person that is taking shelter up under it. If it was not storming, then this tall tree would probably be safe to sit up under. But the tree can not be loose either.

Hi cream...
Thank you for your wellcome in Mylot, I'm happy to be with people like you to share...
Hmmm, yea.. that makes sense, I've never experienced it and don't know the reason why the shelter under a tree when it rains it is dangerous.
Falling trees crushed I think the reason the right of a possibility, I don't think wood is the element that can conduct electrical current.
lol... I'm too stupid to things about that.

makes sense when high tree hit by lightning was not entered into the logic

maybe because the wet tall tree as a conductor is the nearest one in an opening for a lightning.
