That sounds lovely! My husband and I don't get much romantic time because we still live with his parents and they are usually home when we are home. We just had an anniversary though and celebrated it by going out to eat and coming home to watch t.v., his parents weren't actually home so we were able to spend time together in the quiet. do you have a relative near by, maybe your or your husband's parents? You could send your daughter that way, or since it's the weekend maybe arrange a sleepover for her at one of her friend's houses. Hope tht you can do as you've planned, it sounds like a lovely evening! Watch a movie too!

It so hard to plan something different if you don't have privacy. Kids are easy to deal with nut in laws? huh. where can you send them lol

They are good people, lol and they do a lot for us so they're not nut in laws to me, now my side of the family... that's a different story altogether! LOL. I actually had suggested to my husband that we send his parents off for a few days on vacation around Christmas! We'd still have the dogs and cat to take care of, but that's alright.

When planning for a romantic dinner make your place clutter free. Create a romantic mood with some good lightning because with superior lightning everything looks good. You can choose Christmas lights around the fire place, around the door or along the window frame. Candles also help a great deal in lending a romantic appeal to a place. Candles near your dinner area will set a perfect dreamy atmosphere. Don't go in for Scented candles as they may overwhelm the wonderful aromas of your meal. Play some romantic music.

Romantic dinner is the best bonding time for married coupes especially for those who have been married for a long time. It gives them time together ,to think of the old days, how they spent they're boyfriend-girlfriend relationship way back then. Reminiscing the old days give the couple the strength to work out on any problems that will come their way in the future.

That sounds nice... maybe you can set up a slumber party with her auntie or a very close friend.
