Do you have the habit to meet with your relatives regularly?

From this Friday I'll have a 7-day vacation, so I plan to meet with my relatives in the home of my grandmother. Actually in the past several years we usually met once a week, sometimes in my grandma's home, sometimes in the restaurants. I feel so happy because I could communicate with them without reservation. How about you guys? Do you have such habit?

Yes i do have the habit of visiting relatives but i usually visit only when they are too close to me. Others i hardly care but usually it's the other way around. Most people visit our homes. They like our home even though it's quite small for us. They would just cram themselves in our home and our mom would find it difficult to say no to them and hence it would be a very tight situation for us. I have been frank sometimes when the situation worsens a lot and i wish that they would understand us. But relatives of us do wish that we have the time to come visit their home because they know that we would always get something for them!

Yeah, distance is an factor which could not be neglected. If my relatives live in the same neighborhood as me, maybe I will visit them once a day.

When I was younger my family and I would get together on Friday nights to eat and catch up on the week. We also usually had birthday's on Friday. It has been years since we've done anything like that. My husband's day to catch up with family is Sunday, and that's also when Birthday's were celebrated. Now we tend to do things on Sunday, whether it be celebrating a holiday or a birthday. Weekends are just more convenient.

Hi,Simon!
My mom and my husband's father are away from us and we meet with them only for 2 or 3 times per year,usually at Christmas or Easter,because when we have a vacation(if we have it) we travel away from home in an unknown places yet.
But my uncle are very close(is our neighbour lol)so,we meet him every day!

yes i do. we actually meet at least once a month. eventhough we live far away from each other, we always find a time to meet with each other. during the school holidays, we always take a time and go on a vacation to any interesting places. it is actually awesome to gather around and i do have a fantastic time with them.
