I;m not a slow learner or a fast learner either. I learn by listening but I learn more by researching, exploring, experiencing, or by experimenting. When i can't understand how the lessons are being explained, i read books related to the topics, then research and then put them into action.

I'm a visual learner...I learn best by reading the material...followed by doing since what I normally learn is related to computers and business. Whatever type of learner you are, it's best to take advantage of every form of learning.

For me to learn things I need:
1) To be interested in what I want to learn
2) To research for it myself
3) To collect as many examples as I can
4) To experiment on it if possible
That's why I don't like school, university, college or anything like that. I don't want "pre-packed and fixed" knowledge. I want to learn what I want at the specific time with the way I want.
