Christmas in the Philippines

Christmas is fast approaching.Here in my country(Philippines)everybody is excited.We have lots of activities like simbang gabi(going to church at an early time of the day)We decorate our home with so many beautiful christmas thing like c hristmas tree,lanterns,different colors of lights and so many more!
In your country,how do you celebrate christmas?What are your preparations before the big day?

im from the christmal capital of the philippines, Pampanga. Every christmas we have a festival here what they called "GIANT LANTERN FESTIVAL" and when you see them they are really huge. Specially when they lighten... They're really beautiful. But im kinda disappointed coz my town didnt get the champion title this past 10 years,
unlike 90's our town were always the champion.. We make it 4 successive years being champion but now. were always on rank 4 or 3 and that is really sad or me...

My preparations for Christmas is that I buy gifts as early as September to avoid the Christmas rush. I'm not too fond of packed malls with long lines in the cash registers come December. I think it also helps me pick good gifts since I am not pressured to rush buying things.

Christmas here in Philippines is the happiest and the longest time of celebrating the season. Christmas here is full of joy full of love to everyone's heart. people greetings and their food is very delicious.
