Tips to Avoid YM Passwords From Getting Hacked

Hello everyone, I am new in this site though I already had a long passion in writing. I just wanna share my friend's hack experience in her messenger account and I hope you too can learn something from this, because I did :) Anyway, about 3 days ago, my friend was sobbing in tears while we were talking in the web messenger (with her new account). She said her messenger password was hacked and she can no longer access her yahoo account just the day after she talked to her sister, who lives in another country, that she will send money for payment of loans. I did searched online for some information about hacking passwords in messenger and even tried talking to some tech experts if this is possible to happen and they said yes. The hacker can send trojan viruses to your system in the form of hidden files through file transfers in the messenger. Once the virus entered the system of the target, the hacker can now access the log history of the user including the password. I am not sure of how true this info is because I am not really a computer geek, but one thing I have learned, we should be very careful especially when there is money matters.
