I live in Italy. I love my country, but I have to add that our relation is rather contradictory. Let's see a little: scenary: Absolutely wonderful. Italy is very beautiful, I love Sicily because of its wild nature. people: Not much. I consider the average Italian a mediocre person. When I speak with the parents of the friends of my little son I got sad: racist, sexist, stupid sentences.... ok, not Italians are so mediocre, but many are, and I can't stand them. politicians and leaders: the most disgusting thing in the world. I am a left-winger person, and till now I hoped that left-wing parties were at power, but now that the Left is at power nothing changed and many things worsened. I hate Italian politicians. schools: Unfortunately Italian school is not a very good school. But there are a lot of Italian researchers in the whole world who work well and make a lot of discoveries. the art: Ehy.... Italian art is GORGEOUS!!!! Come to Italy and you'll fall in love for our art!!!!

I am surprised that you said that you don't love your country. There a lot of things I don't like about the USA but I still love it. It is a part of who I am. I am sometimes ashamed of some of the things it does and I am ashamed of the superiority complex that it has, but I still love the bad with the good. I don't live there but it lives in me. I love Nicaragua but there are many things that I don't like about it, as well. You have to just take the good with the bad, use your vote and your voice to help change what you don't like. That is one of the good things about USA the people can change it. You have freedoms there and comforts there that people in many countries can only long for and dream of.

Thank you, I guess it is hard to understand. I am not only ashamed of this country and how it sticks its nose in everyones business when it has problems that should be corrected here. It is not as free as a LOT of the rest of the world thinks. Only on the surface is it a free country. My vote does not carry much weight when all elections in the past 100 years have been fixed! These are just some of the many things that most people don't know. The only difference in theis country and other countries. Other countries are in your face with the way they handle things, my country hides behind lies on the way things really are.

I most certainly do love my country and prefer living here over many other countries. I love the freedom we have to choose what we want to do with our lives, the friends we make, the hobbies we choose, the foods that we eat and more. The only thing that I do not like is how our government and our president handle things both in our country and worldwide issues.

why you don't? Once in response to me you have been hear to move the anothery world--heaven. Are you in some conviction. I love my country, even if the rulers of this country unjust to us because it has sentimental values. I haven't travelled much of our country but i encorporates diversity in every aspects, such as in people, language, religion, demography( a lot of mountains including mt. everest.) I have one confiction that we have to love something but unfortunately we get less the real honest thing to do so.

Yes I like here. The friends and the people I have met and to share the freedom of different cult of people is always a blessing to have that right. Sure our country might be hiding from some of the truth, But that the freedom that we have. It doesn't matter what race or where we are from or what do we like or what do we dislike. That is the freedom that we have. Now i don't really like the city that I live in,I like to move to orlando and spend some of my life time down there. But most my family is here and not sure I want be that far away from them.

yes i def. love my county the good old usa!!!!!!! i even love mississippi where we both live!! i think your way off base with some of your beliefs about our country. i mean do you really think that in this day and age anyone could actually "fix" an election and get away with it....but to each his own thought i think if you had to live in some other country you might just change your mind. my belief is that if you are lucky enough to be born in the usa then you are automatically one of the luckiest people on earth!

I am a very proud Australian and wouldn't trade living here for anywhere. I adore the people here, the laid back attitudes and friendly natured people. I love the weather, the beaches. I love the outback, there is so much wide open space and its just a breathtakingly beautiful country

I love the Land in the USA. I love some of the people in the USA.. I love some of the politicians.. I do not like our current president, and some of the other idiots in our country that are taking away our freedoms being to blind to realise that is what they are doing when they are passing laws in the name of protection and good health... The Schools are good.. The Land is good out in the country part.. But I do not like seeing all the development, and all the lack of preseravation going down the tube... The best thing about our country actually predates my country... into Native America... Prior to the US. Other than the technologicaly advances.. I like the pre USA politcal process, My Native ancestors had prior the US.. and well About the Immigration bill... hmm.. No comment :D .. I may get into trouble... I do not like American Greed, Materialism, or politics... I do love the freedoms... and traditions, and annoying songs. - DNatureofDTrain - DNatureofDTrain

Yes, I love my country! I strongly believe that there is just no place like one's original homeland, regardless!
