Immortal or Human?

If you were given the chance to decide would you rather be an immortal or stay as a human being? I was watching an advertisement on TV about an upcoming soap opera on TV which had a plot about vampires and werewolves. Its like an aftershock of the Underworld slash Twilight Saga brouhaha. Thinking of the commercial on age defying products and "staying young and fresh" regimens which abound in our multi-media world, i can't help but wonder if someone out there would seriously contemplate of staying young as in staying alive forever. I know there are people who are afraid to die but there are few discussions on people who are afraid of living forever. hehehe. How about you would you rather be different if you had the power to choose? Is immortality cool or would you rather age gracefully and die as normal human beings? being immortal and living forever would be awesome depends on how you see it. but there would be a downfall to it. one of the worst downfall would be that you would see EVERYONE die especially the one's you care about. so you would basically live the life over and over again just in a diffrent time diffrent place with different people you care about.

To tell the truth, to live long is a dream for many people. In ancient times, some Chinese emperors were trying the best to find the elixir in their later years. And just during the time finding the elixir, alchemists found the gunpowder. Napoleon once said, "A soldier who does not want to be a general is not a good one." That's why being ambitious is also a kind of virtue. So i want to be immortality cool, frankly speaking.

id rather age gracefully and die as a normal human being than being an immortal,because even themselves wants to be humans as well.Some didnt want to have an endless life mainly because they are not free and they will never find happiness and true love in which they can only find in humans.Id rather die having only 1 precious life than having a sharp blood-sucking teeth like the vampire..whew!
