I know we need rain but....

I'm tired of the dusty and dry days here in my workplace. It's been overcast for sometime with thunder and lightning and very humid but no rain. Just a drizzle for a few minutes. It's really weird. Here we needed rain. But I was home in another city over the weekend and rained hard for 3 nights a welcome respite from the place where I work just over two hours away. I sent a message that it's raining cats and dogs at home but the people at work are sighing that there's not even a drop. It's been dry for many weeks now.

Hi. desjones. I am tired of grey and dry days myself too. When it rains a whole lot, it makes one sick and depressed. And then we can't go out to places like the park and to walk when it is raining.

Tell me about it!! I live in Lancashire and in July the powers that be decided we were in a drought situation and put a hose pipe on us -it never stopped raining then all summer!!
