My mom died 8 years ago with urinary bladder cancer and the experience is horrible. We transferred from 3 different hospitals and the bills are really high--but i guess still blessed that everything was paid by my mom's employer via health card. During that time i was so mixed up and very exhausted. We fought together hoping she will recover and later on survive but after 2 years of battle she died and it felt so bad, i was really drained and left alone, hurting inside, though i never had regrets of taking care of her because i lover her so much, a question keeps circling on my mind - is it really worth the battle or we should have given up early so both of us didn't waste a lot of energy, time and money.

So sorry to hear about your mothers passing.. Sounds like she did a wonderful job at raising you, as in her time of need you sure stood by her side and made sure she was comfortable. This is a true blessing for any mother to have a wonderful child help in her time of need.
God bless you!
