Do you spend much on cosmetics and beauty products?

If you're like me, I can't be bothered putting much stuff on my face and body, except for basic moisturizer and body lotion. Unless I'm going out to a party or hot date with my hubby, I just do my simple routine. I had a phase in my life when I spent tons of money on brand products but I guess I've become "cent-sible" or just gone lazy. LOL! I've got mishmash of beauty products in my drawers that I hardly use, gone expired and thrown away, what a waste eh! My only luxury nowadays is when I go back to my home country, there get myself pampered to the max! My daughters are pretty much into looking after their skin and body and spending their earnings much on cosmetics and dietary & healthy products. I guess they are also in that phase I was. Another question is, do you think brand cosmetics & other products worth their cost?

Oh yeah, I supposed when we're younger were pretty much influenced by media or our peers in buying those products.

I would say you are not lazy but content. I have noticed the longer I am married, the less I seem to put on. I am not out to impress anyone, I already have who I want. I think that some name brand makeup is better than your every day makeup. If I go to a regular chain store for my cosmetics, my face breaks out but there is one kind that doesn't do that but it is expensive. I try to wear it only when I am going out. Lucky for me, my 1 and only daughter who is 13 is still not into getting all dolled up. The time will come but for now, it saves me a ton of money so I don't say a thing.
