Is kratos the baddest hero in the virtual world?

I think Solid Snake is the most badass hero in the virtual world, that's just my opinion.

if we see the story as a whole, Kratos is not a hero actually, the story just revolves around him.So Kratos is not the baddest hero,but one of the baddest persons in the virtual world.But i do accept it as you play the game, you develop a sort of relationship with him,so must of us do see him as a hero.

I wouldn't say so, only because from what I've played he doesn't exactly qualify as a "hero." He's the main character sure, and a 'champion' for the gods... but he's no more a hero than the main character in Grand Theft Auto. So... in that respect he's perhaps the baddest hero in that he's the worst one... Now, do I think he's an awesome, super badass main character? Quite so... If only he'd actually save someone instead of dropping them down monster gullets. Then he could maybe qualify as an anti-hero. :p

He does have qualifications. But he has alot of competition. Especially since new games have women as the lead characters. Bayonetta is one. And it would apply alos to other console games. But as always there's the personal favorite that we all cling to.
