Yes. What an irony. Many people who work, not in accordance with the education they own. Perhaps because of factors difficult to find work in accordance with education. So many people are willing to work whatever, which is important to get revenue. There is also temporarily worked as it is, while waiting for suitable work education. But instead of getting a job based on education, but was already comfortable with the existing job.

i think it`s normally distorsi.. too much candidate of workers but only a lest vacancy for them thats why we need to add our skills to compete with the other.. it`s no guarantee when you study in electrical engineering , you must work in electrical engineering jobs too...

Hi, I do agree that sometimes our educational background might not fit our job and it did happen to me on my first job. I was in banking and finance job,but my first job ended as an admin and account staff. This job was really not relevant to my field, but I did not mind to try it out and learn experience from it. Sometimes, what we learnt in school, may not really useful when come to working society,it will be another different story all together. As long as we do enjoy our work,it is fine and getting a good pay is the best thing to consider.

hi there.... thanx for response ^^ thats problems still unfixed till now, n government like keep they eyes closed, is it good for us as indonesian people? for example, why we choose engineering faculty in college if in the end we just work for bank? i think only medical faculty that can have relations with their job lol... ^^

Not always. I heard of nurses working in the call center industry. I am a licensed medical technologist and i did work in a hospital but i never found myself there. So, i worked in an insurance company where they needed someone with medical background. My medical knowledge has given me an advantage but more mathematical analysis is needed in my position but still, i was able to make it through.

The more specialized the work is the more equally specialized the study is. Matching unskilled labor with skilled job or otherwise skilled labor with unskilled job would just be misfit. It is most likely that in the long run the economy suffers.

hey friends...let me state my own opinion about 1's job n its educational background..as me it helps someone to be in that profession whatever he needs from the same educational background.but is it always the only way????i think if ny1 wants to go in his/her passionate profession, education helps but its not the only strength.....the person's confidence n willingness is the BACKBONE....

as long as we do every day and regularly, we certainly can, even if our educational background is not related to our work today. but it would be better if we work according to our educational background, because we will truly becomea professional employee

I am assigned to the Human resource management division of my company, I get to interview job applicants weekly... For me, educational background is very important, the higher the educational attainment the better your chances of getting the job. There is always a case of over-qualification which makes you a misfit for your job.

thanx for response.... ^^ yeah i agree with u, more high our educational certifications more good chance we can get our job, at least we must graduate from college with good mark. but the questions is, why their background faculty is not have relations with their job.... for example people who graduated from informations and technology faculty is work in bank that he must write down income the bank... why need IT people for do it? because IT people at least work for programming or maintain the computer systems in company. ^^
