I suddenly felt demotivated from being active in myLot. Does this happen to you? What do you do if this happens?

When I get bored of Mylot I will just leave it and not post. Most of the time though it isn't because I am bored but because I have so much other stuff to do with college and real life. I will come on in my spare time. Why are you demotivated? Do you need motivation to be here? Is that because you are only here mainly for the money?

Hey! Thanks for the response. I got to be frank. When I joined here, hell yes money is definitely my main reason. After a couple of days, I tend to fall in love with the site (even now) because I like to share my info with others. It is fun to see people asking questions and they found the answer shortly. Now, money isn't the issue for me as like earning $0.40 per day is fine with me. Just that sometime feeling bored keeping answering or see the same questions over and over again. Maybe I am always in the same few topics :( Of course I will still be here but hope to see more new stuffs here

Hi Nicregi, You can earn more then 40 c per day by doing tasks. Yes, there are some same sounding questions and there are some silly ones like will I kill for love!!!. But I guess its the mix that contributes to the taste buddy. Does your photo feature you? If yes-which one are you?? Just asking!!!

Really? 40 cents a day? I could only make max of 20 cents a day but most of the time i only got 5 to 10 cents a day. How do you do it? 40 cents a day?

hello Nicregi :) Yeah I agree we get bored sometimes to post in mylot to the same and same topics :D, It does happen to me sometimes, when I don't find interesting topics to reply, I am sure that there must have been very good topics in the past, but who is going to go back 100 pages in each topic to see what happened in the past here, My server is too slow to open pages fast :(. I enjoy reading few things here as there is a lot to learn from mylot and I am doing exactly the same. I do post only 1-2 posts on the day I Get bored, but I do post here everyday :). I will always try to be active on mylot and learn many things here, may be who knows we might get ideas to become a millionaire :D, Being optimistic helps :D.

It happened to me when I first joined. I kept looking at my earnings and became "demotivated" because the earnings were very slow. I ended up taking several weeks away from the site, but when I came back, I treated myLot as a site where I could have discussions with some of my online friends...talking about topics that interested me. I no longer cared about the amount of money I made because I was discussing subjects like running a home-based crafting business and getting feedback from others that were doing it. Eventually, I was the one with a craft business, and giving advice to others who wanted to do the same...and then I spread out to making money with other online sites...first learning from others that were here doing it first, and now helping others, while still learning from other's experiences. If you don't view myLot as a money making site, it becomes a place to chat with some of your online friends...and the "icing on the cake" is that soon, you'll be receiving money for chatting with your friends.

This has been happening to me a lot lately. I come to myLot and browse through the discussions and don't seem to find anything of interest. I personally find it difficult to come up with topics to start discussions also. Usually what seems like something interesting that should get some good response doesn't get any at all or only a couple of people reply. This is the first time I've logged into my account in over a week and I usually log in every day. Honestly, I've just been bored with the whole thing. How to overcome it? I have no idea. I guess, in my case, I'll just keep going through the various categories of discussions that interest me and hope to find something that prompts me to respond....like yours did. I responded because it's something I can relate to at this particular moment. No rocket science involved, simply looking for something to participate in. Lol.

As a new member, I am sometime not motivated to use mylot because there are times that I can't find a topic to respond to, sure there are a lot of good topics but of course I cannot just join any topic if I don't have anything good to say. What I do if I feel unmotivated is just read the responses of other people from other topics, especially topics started by my friends and when I do, I become motivated again :)
