Which phones do you prefer, a contract phone or a pre paid phone? For over a year I've been with Boost Unlimited. I love Boost but I hate their phones. I hate having a contract that's why I switched from Sprint to Boost. I was with Sprint for about 5 yrs. I do however miss their phones and the ability to upgrade to better phones. I only wish Boost had better phones.

I think they both have advantages and they both have disadvantages. What I have found so far (dealing mostly with internet providers) the ones under contract offer much better services, the ones without are somewhat weaker and less appealing. But then of course a cell phone company needs to be appealing so they can trap you with a contract and keep you for two years!!

Contract phones because you have an account that you can check on you know how much you will be paying each month and most of all you can call costumer service if something happens

I have only used contract phones, as I don't know anything about the other one. I do feel that I get good service with Verizon though, and with contracts, sure you are roped in for 2 years, but they also have better phones, and I like that idea a lot. I would think that with the non contract phones, might not be all that good, and more than likely, you can't upgrade phones. I like upgrading to much, and so therefore, I will stick with the contract phones. Take care, and have a very good day.

I prefer non contract phones. I only use my cell phone in case of emergencies.
To pay $40, $50 or more a month for something I rarely use is not worth it.
