What makes a good twist?

what do you think makes a good movie twist and what are some movies that have such a twist?
l personally think a good movie twist is not just some shocking ending but involves a complex plot. and when you watch the movie over it looks obvious all the time like in the 6th sense for example. when there are little hints and thinks that give out the twist a little but are difficult to pick up. The top 4 movie twists l've seen are:
1the sixth sense
2the book of eli
3the prestige
4lucky number sleven
l haven't seen inception yet but l hear it has an awesome twist too.

I've watched lots of movies with a good twist on in especially suspense movies.what i like is an action packed movie with a twist...and I've seen it on movie "Wanted". its like that bad guy is good. he kill that poor man at the roof top and now his after that poor man's son and Angelina Jolie came to the rescue. then all of the sudden WTF that guy is the good guy and Angelina Jolie is the bad guy and the rest of the Fraternity! and that poor man's son is actually is son...he he he i like the twist in that movie..

A twist makes a movie interesting, definitely. I guess it would also include the plot and the cliffhanger ending that makes you wish with all your heart for a sequel. I think The Sixth Sense started it all. Aside from that movie, my other favorites, twist-wise, are The Others and The Village.
