i won an iPod Shuffle (not iPAD :(( ) about 4 years ago by sending a SMS with a code from a bottle of juice. That`s the best & only thing i won for doing pretty much nothing, just drinking ..:)

The most I ever won was I can't remember exactly something like 50 dollars in a poker tournament. Maybe more like 70 dollars. It was a 20 dollar buy-in among friends. I and another guy ended up with about equal stacks and it being my first poker game and not feeling that confident that I could take him heads up I decided to ask if he wanted to split the first and second prizes and to my surprise and delight he agreed. I don't play poker that frequently, but when I do I tend to break even. It's just a fun game I enjoy where you can make a little money. I've never gambled more than 20 dollars though because I don't have a job and am pretty broke. My brothers are more high stakes and I'm happy for them when they win but shake my head when they just lose it all again. They need to learn how to walk away while ahead. I don't gamble that much also because my mom is a compulsive gambler and has gambled her entire IRA away. She is in massive credit card debt (over 25,000 dollars) and can't retire even though she is clearly tired of working as a registered nurse. She still spends 1000-2000 dollars a month on lottery tickets and hasn't won anything big in a while. My dad almost divorced her, but I think he still loves her. It's taken a toll on our family however and I can't help thinking she could be supporting my college education if she wasn't spending so much on a game she'll never win in a million years.
