We all know that we get only one life to live at the full. I consider myself lucky for coming into this world and living a great life. It really depends on us how we want to live our life, enjoy it all the way or get into shattles...
Do you think that you are lucky to be living a life im this world?

yes and no, yes because they are people that love me and i love them back, but no because all my life ive been sick no even knows whats wrong i'm in pain half the time and depressed the other time i can't even control it. and pain killers do nothing to me i have OD on them manytimes just so the pain wouldn't be as bad so i could go to school they don't even make me high or anything and its weird cause i have thrown up blood so many time i don't even notice when i brush my theeth that the sink is full of blood.
but even with that i would never give up my life for anything cause its mine and i am loved not by tons of people but but the ones that matter not to mention my unnatral ablity to learn anything and high IQ i am 19 but i have the know how to do about 50 differenct jobs and understand anything i am told or thught within a week doesent even matter what it is. yay me

I can tell that I wasn't just a lucky 1 but I am Blessed...(i know that life has it's meaning( facing problems ,crying, laughing , spending time with the family,) though there were times of trouble in this life ,trying to survive is still worth while for i believe that in everything I LEARN how to live and become a better 1...

what u said was so true..
It depends upon ourselves how we make or mold our life in a manner that we won't suffer...
It's nice to be part of this conversation..
Have a great day! harry

I do not even know what to say. People around me always say that I am lucky, I always guess things, if that is luck then I am lucky.

I am lucky and I'm thankful because..
-I was given the chance to live, while others get aborted even before they see the world.
-I had enjoyed my childhood, while other kids work instead of play.
-I was given education, while others are not privileged to go to school.
-I was loved by my parents, while other children get dumped in garbage cans.
-I have a roof on my head, while others have only stars and streetlights on their heads
-I eat 3 meals a day, sometimes even 6, while others have to scavenge through garbage to even eat one.
- I have a son, while others are not blessed to have one.
- I have work, while many are jobless
I can go on making this list, for things I am thankful for. I don't believe that if you are poor, you'll die poor. It is in our hands, on how to turn our life differently.

I think I'm lucky to be alive because my dad got a vasectomy before I was conceived but it turned out to be botched. I however have not been lucky in life. I almost lost an eye a few years ago by getting hit with a dinner roll while waiting dinner. I lost vision temporarily and everything was pink. My friend suggested I go to urgent care to find out if I had a corneal abrasion and I waited for two hours to find that out. The doctor didn't even test my unaffected eye, which turns out also had a corneal abrasion from my contact use, not the accident. I got antibiotic ointment and a patch and was told to come back in a few days. Three days later I decide to call an ophthalmologist because I could just walk to her office as opposed to asking for a ride to go to urgent care. It's a good thing I hate asking for rides because when I told the secretary why I was coming in she handed me over to the doctor who said to come in right away even though she was very busy. I go and she inspects my eye telling me I have bleeding in the anterior chamber from a hyphema or a tear in the iris and blood at the bottom of my eye from a suspected retinal tear. She sends me to a retinal specialist right away fearing that my retina will detach because of my extreme myopia (it's already stretched so thinly). I get emboldened to actually ask for a ride and arrive to another office of old people. I go in and get my laser eye surgery saving my unfortunate eye. Now I'm probably going to get cataracts and/or glaucoma at an early age because of this injury. I also don't consider myself lucky because I have lost the genetic lottery having schizophrenia (the incidence of which is 1% in the normal population).
