This economy is crazy, but not nearly as crazy as some things people are doing to save money. I have heard of people saving condiment packages, napkins, even swiping TP from public restrooms. Is there anything a little crazy that you are doing to pinch a few pennies?

All that i do to save money it`s to be carefull of what i`m buying every time, turn off the light when i don`t need it anymore, i even buyed some eco light bulbs and "work" online to earn some cents every day . I`m even building an website with that earned money . I`ve heared that you need to unplug all the electricity things from your house, such us tv, computer, and so on . It will save you some money .

So I don't have to use a central heating system (big bucks here, long winters) I have had this old wood burning stove installed in my kitchen, which I use to heat the whole house. It's over 50 yrs old but does the trick. The crazy part i guess, is that I have to come up with the wood - which means a trip to the local forest every now and then, saves a lot of dosh though! Okay so I live rurally, so that is not a feasible option for everyone i guess.

Ok, this isn't something I have done, but it was so crazy I HAD to share it!
Make a butter and bologna sandwich. Not too crazy, right? Just wait!
Thickly butter both sides of the bread, slip in your piece of bologna and refridgerate overnight. In the morning, unwrap the sandwich, remove the bologna and *use it again later*. The butter will soak up the "bologna" flavor and so your sandwich will still taste like the meat is there.
This is by far the best weirdo story I have ever heard:
When you use the bathroom, if you go "yellow", lay the paper out to dry to be reused. If it's brown, you may use no more than 3 squares of toilet paper.
*BARF*
Yep, that's hardcore right there.

As for me, if we get too many napkins at a fast food place, they go in the car as "tissues". :) I make our own foaming soap! We bought a foam dispenser and I mix a little hand soap and a lot of water in the dispenser. Soap lasts FOREVER and it's cheaper than buying the foaming soap at the store. Plus, it gets you just as clean :).
