have you tried to sell your used or old books online??

i have many used books,some of them are new but i already read them.my shelf is full so i need to dispose some of my used books.for what i know,there's no store in our town who buy used books.i wonder if there is a real online store or site who buy used used books.is anybody here have done sellin their used books through online store/site???

I don't typically sell books online... I don't think it's very convenient. Typically I take them to our local used books store and I get an offer and I accept it and then go home. No hassle. No shipping. YAY! I could probably get more money if I chose to sell online, but the point usually isn't to get more money... it's to give books I don't love a new home.
I know Amazon has a program for users to sell books through. You should check that out.

I have sold books on Ebay with mixed results, and have found that used book dealers don't really pay that much. I usually end up donating them to a library or school, so that they can try to resell them (or keep them). I have found books actually sell best at garage sales/flea markets.

I've tried using Ebay and another Spanish site where you can sell used books/cds/games... but I haven't had any luck so far. It's a pity that I can't try those other sites someone else mentioned, since the books I own are in Spanish.
