We've just been out for an 'eat as much as you like' Chinese meal. Thare was a lot of it but it wasn't very good quality. Also, by the time four of us had drinks on top, it wasn't that cheap. A false economy I think.

Similarly, I think all those buffet lunch and dinners where you are told to eat as much as you can with only so much amount sounds so ridiculous. The quality of the food is always compromised in those kind of venues.
I remember couple of months back, I was in Pune staying at one of the best hotel for 3 months (Thanks to my office) for training new batches. We used to go for buffet lunch/dinner few times. Guess what??
The food we ate in the Buffet used to be different as compared to the food we would order in the room. Take chicken Biryani for instance. The quality would be amazing in the room order but not in buffet.
Thereafter I have stopped eating in all those EAT As MUCH As YOU CAN offers
