Guacamole....

I love to make homemade guacamole and sometimes when I go to a restraunt it seems really good sometimes and others not so good it seems to taste old at least one time I could remember the guacamole had a terrible taste to it, so I just started making it at home, what about you do you prefer to make it at home or buy it somewhere where it is already made?

Sometimes when an avocado is just right it's a delicious dip/condiment all by itself.

I love avocados they are one of my favorites and I really love gucamole, I can just eat them plain too, all day long I just hate when I buy them and bring them home and when you cut it open it is black inside!! There is really no way to tell on those things just the firmness on the outside but not on the inside until you get home and that makes me sad when that happens!L.O.L.hAVE A GOOD DAY.

I seriously hate that. It actually makes me feel angry. I'm looking forward todelicious Avocado on a sandwich or something and then when you cut it open it's all nasty inside.

I really prefer making it myself. It can be nasty out at certain places. I usually taste it in a restaurant one time. If it's good I will order it again but if it's not I won't order it there any more. I don't make anything fancy though. I actually even like mixing some salsa in with an avacado... that's good too.

I just use avacados, tomatoes ,onion. and cilantro and squeeze some lime and add salt. sometimes I just put salsa too, if I am too tired to make it.

Yeah, the salsa thing is just the easy way out! I like to put onions and Tony's in mine... but I'm okay with just avacado!

I've never bought it. Someone brought a small sample to work over 10 yrs ago and I recall liking it but it was home made. I've recently started making my own at home. Though there is supposed to be a Mexican grocery store that makes some rock'n guacamole

I usually make it a home too but sometimes some og the restaraunts make it so much better.

I don`t ever ask for guacamole in a restaurant. But then, the restaurants where my friends take me offer other sorts of food. Still I love to make guacamole at home as part of my appetizers or as one of the sauces when I make a fondue bourguignon. I have discovered that it looks and tastes a lot better if I use my own hot chile sauce as it has diced chiles instead of a paste.

It depends, if I suddenly get a craving I want it ready and made by a pro. If I feel like putting some effort, I'll make it myself. Mostly I want my food made by a professional, since I really enjoy restaurants.

Problem is many rest. add water to it to make it go far. Try adding a few spoons of sour cream- really make it good and creamy.
