Yes it is around the corner from us again, time goes by so fast sometimes and Christmas always seems to creep up on us, I haven't bought anything yet only looked. But anyway my question here today is if you remember when you were young and it was Christmas Eve, or even the day before Christmas eve did you ever peek and look in the presents? Are you guilty?

I only peeked once when I was around 12 or 13 and felt so disappointed on the day for having spoilt my surprise that I never did do it again! I haven’t started any Christmas shopping yet; so far I made a list of ideas and that’s about it. I will be good and I will not peek, I promise!

Yes! I totally have done that a couple times. It's weird, but so true, that over time, you kind of lose interest in what presents you get - but as a kid - it's SO exciting! I LOVED waking up on Christmas mornings to see what Santa put in my stocking - and also to see what kind of gift *he* got me. lol. It was truly exciting! I am still excited about Christmas, but moreso because I am excited to give presents to other people - I love Christmas shopping! And it's an excuse for the whole family to get together and hang out. We play games, chit chat, and have an excuse to dress up. It's just fun. I can't wait!

My mum never put any out until Christmas eve as she knew that both me and my brother would try to peek to see what we had got in each gift, lol.Nothing changes as we do try to peek now when we go over at christmas, lol. My husband is the worst one for peeking,as he has to put the gifts under the tree and when there is one with his name on he shakes it,he is worse than our children.

I once had a peek when I was younger and felt so guilty I never did it again.
Not only did it spoil the surprise, I was mighty scared my mum would find out.
