when a new film just released, do you prefer to watch it in cinema hall or buy the DVD and watch from your DVD player? Me i choose my types of movies. I watch only popular and good films. for example if a movie just released, I will wait the response of the movies for about 2 weeks and if i heard the movie is good, then will go to cinema watch the film. I dont like buying tickets for a film the very first day and then step out from cinema before end as movie was boring. You wasted your money and time as well.

Before we used to watch movie in cinema almost every weekend but it is so expensive and sometimes even if the review and ratings were good it turned out to be a waste of time so we decided to have netflix. wE CAN WATCH MOVIE ANYTIME through streaming and there are lot of selections.

I'll rather watch blockbusters, aka big movies in a theater rather than at home. I too want the full effect of it all. the popcorn, the soda, the fact that you can get out and have fun. this is the reason i prefer the theater and to mention the movie going experience is a lot better than watching a movie at home.

Personally, if there is a movie I really want to see, I prefer to wait until that given movie is released on DVD and watch it from the privacy of my own home.

Atmosphere caan have a lot to do with how we enjoy watching a film. Dvds at home can be very convenient. Still, there is nothing like the experience of seeing a movie at the theater for the first time.

I prefer watching it in the big screen. Especially if it's a movie that I've been really looking forward to. And if it's really good, I usually buy a DVD so I can watch it over and over at home.

As of now, because of the bedbug epidemic, I would stay home and not go to the theater to watch a movie. I don't need an infestation of bugs, as they're next to impossible to get rid of, I've been there before. Even without this issue, I'd still rather not go out to the theater to see any movie as I get sick and tired of people blocking my way, using their cell phones, talking non stop and just generally being annoying. Watching at home means I can stop the movie at any time, for any number of reasons, and it's more relaxing to sit at home and be able to watch movies. After years of annoyance at movie theaters, the long lines, the expensiveness of the entire outing, I've learned that it's not worth it, unless it's something really, really good, and even then I would wait a few weeks before going, when the theaters aren't so busy anymore.

I prefer the cinema, but it's too expensive. I go to two, maybe three times a year. There has to be a reason for me to go to the cinema, it may have scenery that makes a big difference. If it's just a comedy I'll wait and just rent, not buy the DVD. The only time I will buy a DVD is when I know for a fact I will be watching it many times, like mamma mia.

Nothing beats watching movies in cinema houses for me! If I'm really really anticipating for a certain movie, I'll be sure to watch it in the big screen. But if I'm not that interested, then I'll just wait for it to be realeased in DVD. Oh and for the record, I also buy DVD copies of the movies that I watched in the cinemas. Not only because I want to watch them over and over again, it's also because I want to have them in my collection. I don't know, it just feels comforting to me knowing that I have my own copies of my favorite movies.

You are wise, I agree with you, but I usually like watching film in cinema no matter its have or haven't good responses. because watch film in cinema is my hobby its from my childhood I always with my grand father go to cinema some time I even don't understand the movie content. but I like following with my grand father. now I still cherish that moment in the cinema, the difference is now I can understand some film and taking with others but without my grand father. some film maybe boring but in my eyes usually have different meaning.

I like to do both because it depends on the situation. When my daughter was growing up it usually was going to the movies and buying the dvd/vhs. Being a perpetual bacheler, the movies are always a last minute favorite when out on a date. But when I want to enjoy my favorite liquid beverage, it is definitely the dvd at home. Today's prices do affect the decision making process as well. So, like I said, it's a situational type of thing.

Im like you i have to hear what everyone else is saying about the movie because the previews of the movie makes the movie out to be something that its not so that ppl will come and see it and when the movie has gone off you feel the sense that you was cheated!!
