Hello!
I saw here,in myLot more "newbie" members who ask for help.Maybe they don't read the FAQ very carefully,or don't understand it.Also, they need help about changing profile, about tasks or everything else. They need help because they don't understan how it's works myLot.
So,I think that maybe you can add a new interes like "Newbie help"or something like that, where all these people can post their questions.
What do you say about it?
Have a great week!

Good morning, thebest1! (I know you woke up early today! )
It would be just fine if every new user read the FAQs before asking for help, usually the answers for their questions are in the FAQs. I know it's more simple to ask, then it is to read ten or twelve pages of FAQs.
I'm not bothered by the newby's questions, in fact I kind of like them, because I like to be helpful. After all, we all were newbies sometime, aren't we?
As for your proposal, I would agree with it only if the new interest were mandatory for every new user. It would be just fine if it was always on top of any other interest. This way the new users would ask their questions into this interest, not in any other interest (like they do now).
So, what do you say about this amendament to your proposal?

As you rightly said they must be new to Mylot. They might not have read the terms and rules of the site or clearly understood them.So far as we are concerned we can ignore their postings. We cannot prevent them form doing what they are now doing.Let them go in their own way.We shall confine ourselves to the other discussions in which we interested..Am I right..?

I am also new as you know.Mylot is learning site and not earning site. You suggested MyPage5.There also I have not made any headway. I am unable follow the various steps they suggest.I am a failure there also. Now I am in Mylot only. Here also I have to a long way to reach payout stage...

I also observed that as well, I'm not saying this as an administrator (since I'm not) but this is also how I see the other side of the coin though, if you are new to any site, I guess it is relatively important to familiar yourself with the site's FAQs which can be found just below the mylot page. Probably some mylot users just read it some did not.
But posting same questions might be filtered or be done better with the aid of mylot new redirect page and such you suggested. I am with you in suggesting this !

Hello thebest1,
Some can create that interest. How ever, can you determine that such interest or discussion would be known immidiately by the newbies. there had been a numerous topics that had been created in the past mylot and it's rules created by some of my friends here. but when ever such discussion is made, only those regulars are the ones who respond. only a few newbies respond.
Last night i had to give three newbies, links about the faq and the discussion guidelines.
It is the responsibility of every SINGLE mylotter to provide the newbie the things he/she knew about mylot. so that the admin wouldn't have trouble deleting their topics.

That is a very good suggestion. It's not easy being a newbie. It is really good to have a new interest specifically for newbies to addressed their concerns so that they don't have to open discussions again and again asking for help and to clear misconceptions about earnings here in MyLot.

That is a nice idea my friend. I go with you on that request. However, the problem with that is most of the newbie's do not read the mylot guidelines, FAQ, or rules that is why they keep on asking for help. It is more easier for them to ask than take their time to read the rules. They may be thinking that when they start a discussion about how they can earn from mylot, they can earn from it, that is why.

That does sound like a good idea. I remember how I had problems getting to understanding how Mylot worked. It would have been really helpful if they did have that link on the FAQ section of the site. Maybe Mylot should have someone that is available during a certain section of the day so they could offer Live Help to people that have problems navigating through the site and stuff.

It seems a good idea. You could directly contact 'feedback' and send them your suggestion.

if a newbie does not know what to do here at mylot, then i dont think that a newbie will be able to find the "newbie help" interest. I think the new people will still keep on posting discussions regarding help in other interests. the only difference it will make is that the existing members will just ask newbies to go to "newbie help" interest.
Anyways you had a good point.
thanks

Good idea best, you can suggest this to the administraor..
Let me put my views, many really don't read the FAQ, right, but some start discussions like, how to load my profile picture, to get more responses..
Thanks for sharing. Cheers.

That's a very good idea. And I'm guilty when you said that some are not actually reading the FAQ's, hehehe. But I already read it few days after I joined mylot. But you know, we can't really blame those who didn't read the FAQ's first, maybe they are just like me who became so excited to start responding and starting topics. :)

I think that is a great idea. I am fairly new to mylot. I get a lot of the main concepts, but because im new, there is a lot that i still dont know. I think that alone would help me and many others out a lot. thanks for even bringing up.
