The Different Version of Adobe Photoshop Software

What is the difference of using Adobe Photoshop CS1, CS2, CS3 and CS7? I am using Adobe Photoshop CS3 and sometimes I am using Adobe Photoshop CS7. I know how to create arts in Adobe Photoshop, but just a basic knowledge. I am using them both, but I didn't know the difference of CS3 and CS7 and other version of Adobe Photoshop. Are they all the same?

They are all the same , i mean adobe photoshop as an image editing software. And about CS1,2,3,..... the difference is only in updated features and tools that more complete and more user friendly than previous version. Just like windows 98, XP, Vista, 7.

Adobe Corporation is one of the major software developers in the world.Adobe developing variety of softwares like Adobe Reader,Photoshop,Pagemaker,Illustrator etc
All software include different versions in the case photoshop include photoshop 7,cs,cs2,cs3 etc.
Hi,genius you are correct each new versions contain updated features and options like windows operating system versions.But one thing based on different version system requirement is high ,especially in the case of RAM and PROCESSOR .For example I have some experience in Photoshop 7 that version of photoshop smoothly working system with 512 MB ram but i just try Photoshop CS3 after installation I am not able to work with photoshop CS3,the reason was RAM.I think CS3 require 1GB RAM minimum.

Al versions of photoshop are the same, but the newer versions have more features and functions and improvements in some of them, that's the only difference between versions.
And the last version of photoshop is CS5, Photoshop CS7 does not exist (until now)
Where did you see Photoshop CS7????

Ok ,but if you go to the adobe web site (the official site of photoshop) you can see the last version is CS5, the CS7 version could be a modification, I don't trust in those kind of mods because you don't know who did it and many times does not work as well as the original one.

I think there are not many differences between old and new version. Because only some updates make a new version. And there are some changes in old Photoshop to me it latest. Yes many companies put some good advanced features in their tools and launched it. I think Adobe also make some good difference in their new software.
