This is a tough situation. You have to consider a lot of things before you quit your job that you find no satisfaction with. One is the number of available jobs around requiring your skills, your preparedness to start from scratch, and are you really going to be happy when you leave your job. These are just some self queries you have to ponder on and there are lots more. If you can easily answer them, well, you won't be thinking twice.
But if you would ask me, due to the current global employment situation, I would stay on my current job as I consider myself lucky to have one. I know numerous people who can't find jobs but want to earn a living.
Of course, needless to say, it doesn't mean that if we are not happy with our job, we would immediately quit. We should value everything we have and we should know when to be contented. Based on my experience, I know that jobs can be overwhelming at times but from there we learn a lot.

If you don't love your job, you should not probably be doing it. Because the best jobs are done by happy workers. But I suggest that you think it over. Why do you hate your job? Why are you not enjoying doing it?

Let go then. But you may want to look for an alternative source of income first, just to be safe. You're welcome! ;)

My most valuable suggestion is that you silently begin a job search while you still have a job, it is a well known fact that it is much easier to get a job while you have one then when you do not as employers often wonder why you are not working.
There is no point in being unhappy at a job so start silently looking for something you may like. This way your earnings will not be interrupted and you will be a bit more happy in the interim.
