Technical glitch with pictures on My Lot! Has anyone noticed?

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but I logged into My Lot this morning and I notice that the pictures of the different interests at the top of the page are not showing. I know this is not a discussion as such but I just wanted to see if any others are experiencing this. I know it's not my pc as I have logged into other sites and photos are showing so I'm thinking that perhaps it's My Lot only?
I would be interested to know if anyone else is experiencing this. Many thanks. Andrew

Hi owlwings, thanks for that information! Yes, I'm just seeing an X where the picture should be this includes the profile pictures of other users. Anyway, I guess it's not too serious but I thought I would check that. Andrew

I just got online about an hour ago and as soon as I got startd on mylot I noticed that none of the pictures were showing up. None of the photos on top for the interests and none of the avatars. I assume its a problem that will be fixed soon. I wont bother uploading any pictures until thats fixed though because they probably wont upload correctly.

Yes, a lot of people have been experiencing the same thing and I have just logged in and I see that the problem has been resolved whatever it was so that's great! The pictures definitely make the site a lot more interesting. Andrew

I'm just glad that we are still able to create discussions and post on My Lot. Hopefully things will be sorted out in due course, thankfully it's not an emergency situation! Andrew

Yes! At first, I thought I am the only one facing this problem due to slow internet connection at my place,but anyways, hope everything will be back to normal soon. I guess, MyLot is having some technical problem and am sure they will resolved it very soon.

That's great! I have seen the broken link so many times on pictures and well, it's kind of made the site a little plain but I'm sure glad that we are still able to contribute here and write our thoughts! Many thanks. Andrew

I was about to initiate a topic on the subject when I saw yours. Yes. You are right. The links to the images are broken. There seems to be some problem with myLot as elsewhere all is fine.

yes.. in fact i am facing this problem since morning. may be some glitch.. i didn't find any discussion related to this problem thats why i have started discussion about it also but then i have seen your discussion...
i can't see my avatar also.. mylot looks wired without those images.. ha ha

Yes, I suppose a lot of people were thinking along the same lines of creating a discussion like this! I guess when something happens we all think of it as a great idea to create a discussion about.. I have noticed it to. I am sure Mylot knows about the problem or has been noticfied by some of it's mamebers about the problem. I am sure it will be taken care of soon. I have seen this happen before and it pretty weird!

I've experienced it also. I thought it was my computer having problems LOL. I think it's the server's problem.

Well, I'm just glad that the pictures have returned now as it makes My Lot very colourful and more enjoyable I think. Well, I don't understand the science behind it but I'm just glad that everything is back in working order! Andrew

sometimes when i log on the pictures next to the interests are all of parachutes,then after a few minutes it returns to normal

That definitely sounds like a wacky experience!. I think that images and pictures make a website more attractive and easy on the eyes. I'm really pleased that things are back to normal now. It makes it easier to search through the interests when pictures are available. I also like to look at different profile pictures, that's quite an important aspect. Andrew

Hello ANdrew,
And I thought my PC and it's internet is the only ones having a problem. thank god you put up this topic. if this problem is every where, then i guess it's a server problem and likely mylot will do something to have it repaired.
Yes, I too am having the same experience with this. it's going to be another maintenance for the admin. we just have to have faith they will get it done. CHeers!

Their are many persons here who face this problem today. Yes I had also facing this problem today with my mylot profile. But now everything is fine. I think this problem was of mylot by some technical errors. But now every pictures are shown their. I think this problem happen today since morning. So I was also worry about this. But now everything is fine. I think due to technical error this was happen so everybody was worry about this.

Hi, yes I was beginning to think like that myself and I even went into Internet Options to make sure that all the settings for viewing pictures was correct. Anyway, I can put my mind at rest now that I know there's a little technical glitch. Thanks. Andrew

Oh no! I'm faceless!
It's the first thing I noticed today. Maybe they're doing some sort of site maintenance that has caused the photo error for a short period of time. I'm sure it'll be resolved soon.

Yes, it was the same for me! I just logged in and it seems as though everything is back to normal now, that's great. I love those pictures, it makes it easier when scrolling through the different interests! Andrew
