There are many amazing things that have been invented, especially during the course of the twentieth century. The most important of these will ofcourse be in the field of medical science. In modern times we can count ourselves extremely fortunate as we do not have to contend with such things as the horse and buggy, travels by old sailing ships or even olden time cars.Communication is now instantaneous what with faxes, and celphones. The best of these is the email and other systems that operate via the Internet.Shopping online, chatting with people, getting hold of all kinds of information instantly,Voip telephony, online banking and numerous other features to be had. With the Internet the sky is the limit......and growing by the minute.I could be wrong though, there could be many more inventions out there that could be many times more amazing than the Internet......but then again the Internet could top the lot,for a long time to come.

It might not be the greatest. The greatest would perhaps be the Silicon Chip. However, it has been a path-breaking one.
