How do you think about charities ? ? ?

Recently, William H.Gates and Warren Buffett came to China. They want to persuade the rich that they can donation their treasure to support the charties. They set a good example of the rich, but few of them answer the appeal to donation their private treasure. Maybe many reasons caused this phenomenon happened, such as the consciour of oneself, legal system and so on. What your opinion on this question?

How do i feel about charities.Well in our country there are loads of different types of charities.I think that with our country keep helping other countries,it is getting out of order.Our country is having a economical crisis,yet the gov are sending money to othet countrys and cutting money here aswell as other vital things that our country need,so from now on the only charity is my family that i will be giving anything to.

Generally speaking, If we want to donate something to support the charities, we need to support our family at first. But if you have more money to do something else, I think that you can donate some of them to support the poor. After all, the globe is a big family for anyone of us, and a lot of people also living under the poverty line.

I think charities are great. It helps the poor and gives them a reason to live. It doesn't always have to be food or money. It can be an opportunity for a decent job. That way, they don't have to always depend on anyone. They can make money on their own to provide to their family. Damn! I should be president.

Its good to hear that these biggies are really good at heart too and they contribute to the society, they are responsible and that's why we admire them. I have personally seen that rich people always donate why don't some not so rich people donate or poor people? everyone can contribute something , we all can help, Charity can be in the form of money, clothes, food or we can give ourselves for service. I think if we all give some portion of what we have to this cause we can make this world a better living place for rich and poor alike...
