New Interest Topic - Writers Corner

I was thinking of starting a new interest topic called "Writers Corner".
The idea is geared towards those us who have an interest in content submission and writing articles.
The purpose would be an area to share information and trade ideas, and critique writing styles.
What do you think? Is there enough common interest to support a new interest topic? Would you be willing to add it to your list?

That is a good idea Miner49r but you should consider a forum instead of a new topic. We already have topics about writing here on mylot. I feel a forum or all mylot writers who wish to network and trade writing techniques and secrets can add each other as a friend. I don't like sharing trade secrets that I have develop or found out about with the general public. ...

In a sense myLot is a forum, although not laid out in the traditional sense and format as we are used to seeing.
We all have methods and techniques we consider "Trade Secretes", Not everything would have to be exposed or put on the table.
Article writing and content submission is such a broad spectrum with a number of possible avenues competition is great. The idea is about Writers helping Writers improve their craft. That same resource could be appllied to the improving the quality of post content here on myLot as well.

You are right mylot is a type of forum. Article writing does have fierce competition that's why your idea is a good one, but, like I said before no one wants to give away what took them time and effort to learn or obtain to the general public. Some of these mylotters here don't care about improving their writing most are only here for the money. ...

I think is a good idea and one I could explore, as so many topics here are jumbled into the wrong category and discussing it here would seem appropriate to me as when you contact admin perhaps direct to this discussion as well.

Oh I could totally go for that! I think that would be a wonderful way to pool our writing knowledge, and also gain page views for our sites that pay per impression. Those of us on the same content submission sites could become each other's "fans".
