How many discussions are needed to see the first earning?

I have submitted just about 10...i guess...I need lots more. Anybody who got the first earning...whats the first threshold that i cross to make the earning non-zero.

whats the rate at which the earnings increase? is it 1 cent/new discussion ? or 1 cent / response ?
