I have never been afraid of Halloween (although I can see why you might be, considering how scary some costumes and things can be..) I always looked forward to Halloween: it was SO exciting! Having an excuse to dress up, walk around the neighborhood, and get tons and tons of candy was an A+ experience in my book.

I've always regarded Halloween as a fun, holiday and when I was younger, I could get more candy than I could ever dream of. I never really thought of the 'dark side' of the holiday: witches and ghosts and such. Though I'm an adult now, I still regard Halloween as my favorite holiday, along with Christmas.

When I was little I loved Halloween. When I lived out in the country, there weren't any neighbors to go trick and treating at so my mom would take me to the local mall where they handed out candy at each store then let the kids play and dance on this big stage.
Then when I moved to a neighborhood, they would host Halloween block parties. We had hotdogs and hamburgers and other food before teaming up in groups and go trick or treating throughout the neighborhood. My best friend use to carry around a pillowcase and wouldn't stop going from house to house until it was half done.
I also enjoyed dressing up and decorating my house with spiderwebs and purple lights.
