I have never been able to walk in heels. I've always been scared of falling and hurting my ankle or something, how embarrassing. I however love platforms. I substitute them for heels and I feel very sexy when I wear them. I just want to know if men find them as sexy as heels?

When it comes to shoes, I have always been one for flats. I never felt comfortable walking in heels. I wear a small shoe size so this often hinders finding heeled shoes anyway. I never saw the big fascination with platform shoes so I stayed away from that. give me flats anyday!

Total flats are not good for your posture and spine. Prefer a 1/2 inch heel instead, it will be easier on your back and your feet won't hurt as much after a busy day.

I am not a fan of both.I am a fan of wedges,Mary Janes, gladiator flats, booties, and boots though.I adore wedges because they give me height without hurting my feet or losing my balance.yesterday I spend the whole day in a 5-inch heeled wedge but my feet didn't hurt.I love Mary Janes because they're both sophisticated and stylish.I love gladiator flats because they're very comfortable and cute and I can walk in them the whole day.I love booties and boots because they are versatile.booties look good on dresses and during summer.boots look nice during rainy days and you don't have to worry about your feet being wet and muddy.

I don't know that they'd find platforms as sexy as heels. Though I'd imagine it depends on the styling as well as what you are wearing or not *LOL* But I can't wear heels, I prefer platforms as well but platforms are not always the easiest to find.

Once I run in platforms and scraped my knee and hand! They're not as safe as you think! OK, seriously, I've been wearing really high heels for about 10 years now and even though I can mostly walk fast in them, even run, there's always the possibility I might step on something and (almost) fall. But I like them too much so I take my risks. The key is to buy high quality heels. They're more expensive but very steady. Try this little trick when buying for heels: pick them up and set them down quickly. They should steadily stand on their own. If they don't settle well, don't buy them. Another tip to remember is to prefer the ones that strap around the ankle. They're very steady. As for comfort, choose the ones with enhanced soles and also use those gel pads. It's not as hard as you might think, I have even worn heels to work several times.
