Spyware terminator vs the rest antispyware and antivirus aplications

Today installed new Spyware terminator version 2.8.0.18 on my PC and now started full antivirus and spyware scan. hopes it will work fine and fast. but i must say i was kind a contented spybot search&destroy user before and before i used many other nice PC security solving tools.
Why i reinstalled them? because they slowed down my PC. That something i could never understand why i must for example install antivirus aplication weighing more than 100mb!?
Even spybot - great tool dissapointed me with its very rare updates and prehistoric design.
So from now i am Spyware terminator happy user. Before installing it i read a lot information on internet with topics Spyvare terminator vs blablabla.
I hope i made good choice :)

Spyware terminator is good and I use it too.But it removed Service Pack 3 updates,some days ago,when I ran the full virus scan.Despite this I continue to use it,along with Adaware,of Lavasoft.Recently there was the same update.So far they are intact,as I have not the FVS.

removed Sp3 updates? how is that possible? i have windows xp sp3 home adition, but my updates works weel and this week i received some new udates which was installed without any problems.

I agree that Spybot is a bit antiquated in it's interface - but it has "survived" and has numerous in-depth settings, that I believe still continues to excel overall. I use to use Spyware Terminator and Super Anti-Spyware, but too many updates, which when I ran them they keep finding the same old cookies every day.
Solution? Someone told me to run CCleaner at the end of the day - it worked. No need to use the two spyware programs...But i think they are good for heavily infected computers...meaning prevention of visiting certain web sites in the first place...

I have already instaled CCleaner and use it several years. it is the best tool to improove pc loading speed and clena fron any kind of trash.
My Ccleaner is set up to clean pc on system startup, so it makes all hard work everyday without my interruption :)
