have problems affiliating

I'm just started to put a great interest in affiliating, as it could earn much more money. But, I kinda confused on how to start. I choose ClickBank, because the affiliation program is offering high comission (up to 75%) and people say that ClickBank is the highest in commision rate. I try to post the product promotion in my blog, but it doesn't seem to work at all People say that combining ClickBank with Google Adwords will be a money making machine. But, I am not able to use it as I don't own any credit cards and the guides are pretty rare For those who have started affiliating, your advice are valuable. Or, maybe you guys have other strategy ???
