Harry Potter fantasy series were created by J.K.Rowling.the plotlines of each book are amazing.the author keeps her several plotlines clear of each other until the end.people are crazy about these storys.and the Harry Potter books appeal to both children and adults."it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live"in the books impressed me so much.it happens in our life. all the Harry Potter series have been made into films.the main character,Harry Potter, has become a young adult with the movies.plenty of children addict to the movies.it is really amazing.
do you read the Harry Potter series? how do you think of Harry potter series?
and what are you feeling on J.K.Rowling?

I'm really addicted to HP! I love all the books, even the spin-offs and published books from the books like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and The Tales of Beedle the Bard. I don't like the movies very much though. They're ok and they're worth watching for me. I like the effects and some of the actors. Anyway, I'm watching the movies to show my support to J.K. and the books.
I wish J.K. would do HP novels like a book about what happened to Ron and Hermione, to Harry and Ginny, to their offspring, etc. These would surely satisfy the cravings of avid HP fan for other HP books aside from the series.

I have read The Tales of Beedle the Bard, but I haven't seen Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them yet. I will have to look for that. Also, I read that there is another one called Quidditch Through the Ages that sounds like it might be interesting as well. They said it is a "companion book" to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, but I am not sure whether that means it is a book within a book as is sometimes the case or whether it is a book in its own right but meant to be sold together. I also thought at one point when I was looking through our local library that I had seen a Harry Potter spell book, but I have not been able to find it again, so maybe it was written by another author as more of a "fan fiction" type book.

I do not think that they will be viewed as "classics" in the sense that many schools would consider them classics. However, I do think that they will stand the test of time, and generations from now our great-great-great-grandchildren will still be reading and enjoying the books. I do not think that the movies are anywhere near as good as the books and most likely will not get as much attention, but I definitely think that the books will still be read and enjoyed.

I have heard that not only are schools banning it but also there are some people that do not want their local libraries to carry these books or movies. I think that it is completely absurd, but that is just my opinion. If these people do not want their children to read these books or watch these movies, then that is their right as parents until the children become old enough to decided for themselves. However, they do not have the right to censor other people's reading and viewing options.

I liked all the books but I couldn't watch the movies. Tried to watch it several times but I could never finish it. It was just really uninteresting and boring to me since I've read the books.

So many people have been touched by the creation of Harry Potter. there are few people who don't know of the world of Harry potter. It is destined to be a classic for years to come.

yes i think it will be a classic book serie
firstly i would begin with my history: when a was younger i didnt like read books, especially long books, but when i started the harry potter i really liked to read books, so later i read many books, and iam still read books often
so i think it would be good if every child must read at least the first part of the harry potter serie

It will be preposterous to bill Harry Potter a classic, but it'll remain to be regarded as a cult hit for sure. People would probably also not wipe out its memories for quite some time to go from now, but whether it would be etched into the literary halls of fame, like a fantasy as Lord of the Rings, a suspense as Sherlock Holmes, a drama as Shakespeare's Hamlet, is to be seen. Times change, people change, and if the glory of Harry Potter doesn't, then no could deny him his claim to immortality.

Harry Potter Book series(yes the book, not the movies. I hate the movies) is one of the best series ever written. The best thing about it is that it teaches basic core values. It appeals personally and emotionally, It transports you to a new different world. Everyone including adults and kids relate to it. Thats the reason it has succeeded in creating a niche for itself.

OH YES. Haha, these books will be legendary. I think they'll be like how the J.R.R. Tolkien books are to our generation, to our kids. If that sentence made sense, haha. I am sure, though, that they will remake them. Just like they remake EVERYTHING. But the books cannot be remade and I am sure they'll become comtemporary classics. Actually, I think they might already be.

With how popular it has been I don't think it'll ever be forgotten- there are people that loved these books so much they will definately be passed on to their children, same with the movies, children will be watching them that haven't even been born yet, so it'll definately be a remembered book series and popular with future children as well.
