ardie, hope springs eternal is a time tested quote. In other words, who knows what tomorrow brings?
Live each day to the fullest, the next time you wake up might just be the time of your life. If it helps, my time was during the repression brought about by Martial Law. Now I am as vocal as my next neighbor invoking my inalienable human rights...

"Hope springs eternal"....that's so true..i just hope that it wont take an eternity for me to wait..I'm already living life to the fullest the very best i can.I'm just concerned about how would my daughter do when she grows up with this kind of system..

Life has a way of putting things in a proper perspective. Your daughter will be all right. We parents tend to worry so much about the future of our children. We even prepare unnecessary insurance policies and think our children can never fend for themselves. But the more important thing is to let them spread their wings and allow them to live their own destiny. There is no perfect country nor perfect environment. What could be there is a perfect parent who guides and supports his offspring at the moment when he is needed the most. So keep by your daughter's side while you can. She will never go wrong if you show her where to fly...

I still have "hope" that our country will improve. But in order to accomplish that we really need a great leader. Maybe we might get lucky on the next presidential elections. Who knows?

There is always hope whenever you draw breath. That means, as long as you breathe, there is hope. Change always start from within. If this philosophy is adhered by every person in our country, then we will see a brighter future soon. Until then, always strive to be a model citizen to the best of your abilities.
