Actually the hardest part about working so early is not the waking up part. It is keeping yourself alert and awake when you are driving to work! Today and many days felt like the journey was never ending and maybe at one point I was sleeping with my eyes open..eekks .. Have you experience the feeling of driving to one place without realizing that you have already reached? Have you encountered a country that have a really good mode of public transport? How I wished at times, we had those facilities.

Yikes one eye open while driving... Well sounds like you made it to work safely. Me lately I feel like it takes at least 1 - 2 hours before I can fully awake. I swear people are taking as I can see their mouths move but I am still sleeping at the time..LOL.. I try though but I think it has to do with the change in weather for me.
Stay safe friend.

Thanks, seriously I know I should stay save. Do you think at this point of time, when we can just snooze off means that we are actually vitamin deficiency? Any pointers in regards to keep alert. I am kind of really worried.

Absolutely it is concerning so outside of perhaps a daily vitamin, maybe a morning shower to really rev up in the morning may help you be alert during the drive.
Getting up and getting ready and rushing out the door does not leave you enough room to perk up in the morning. So try that aelialsc or perhaps exercising in the morning, although you are not quite awake both suggestions may seem hard. Perhaps if you start a daily routine this may help.
Now if neither are helpful then I would suggest seeing a doctor as maybe you are beginning the sleep disorder that some people get. Be well.

I zone out. Especially when I'm tired. I'm so used to the routine that I usually have that I COULD probably drive to work half-asleep if I wanted to. LOL. (Not really, don't worry - I wouldn't try this!). I used to have a job (well, I only had it for 6 months) working as an early-morning merchandiser where I had to be at work at between 4:30-5:30 AM depending on the day and the business. Of course, it was about 45 minutes away from my house, too, where I worked - so I ended up leaving WAY early in the morning. The hardest thing for me to do was STAY awake once I was at work. Driving always wakes me up, especially when I can roll my window down and get some fresh air, but after about an hour of working this early..I'm pooped! lol.

I am amazed that you can wake so early. Sometimes I wonder for a routine to follow over several years needs really a commitment or a great liking towards a job or maybe a career. I cannot imagine doing the same thing over and over again each and every morning. =)
