If Mylot were to change their policy and would no longer be paying anyone for discussion topics here, would you still remain a member? or, is the thing that motivates you to continue with your membership, the fact that you are paid for your time and effort? I think it would depend on a lot of factors, how long one has been a member here, the friends they've made here and enjoy disscussing and various topics with and also the advice and help they may be receiving from other members.but, i am interested to know how many other Mylot members would remain here , or is the primary reason you "stay"is due to the payment incentive?

I think it is impossible because mylot is one of the great sites and also trusted sites. And suppose if as you say it happen in future then I still want to work on this sites. Because my aim is not only earning money. Here I come for improving my typing speed and also my way of thinking. And now I am one year old member of this site. And in this one year I have realize that mylot helps me to improve my thinking skills. Because now I am able to give my views in many discussions. So I want to still working on this site even it paid me or not. It doesn’t matter that it paid me or not but it is really matter for me that it helps me to improving my skills.

it's nice to know others are are here for more reasons than getting paid. Learning different things is always a bonus and if Mylot is helping you learn the things you mentioned, you are really improving your education and that's an extra bonus. Congratulations on your 1 year membership and continued good luck to you.

Hi, if this thing happens then I will certainly stop posting or stop new discussions as I feel little difficult to continue when they pays ...when they stop paying then whats the use of posting discussions as sometimes all the discussions I found very boring and not to answer.

I would still do it, the little I make on here is not really that motivating but talking to the people on here I really enjoy the interaction.

Wow, so far, you are the first one who said they would remain a member. But i have to agree that getting paid, even if it's a small amount, is more of an incentive to remain a member, even though i also enjoy the interaction with different people, it's not always easy to find really good discussion topics that are geared to my interests. On the other hand, being able to offer advice and or helping someone with a particular problem, is also somewhat of an incentive as well Thank you for your response.

I would leave too. There are many alternatives that are a lot better designed and built, if they remove the rewards they pretty much have nothing left over the competition.

It seems by the responses i've gotten so far, Mylot would lose a lot of members if they stopped paying, i seriously doubt if they ever will, since as you mentioned, there are a lot more discussion sites and forums to choose from even if they are not paying ones.Thank you for your response.

I would leave in a second. The only reason I started coming over here a little more was because of issues with another site that made me think I should explore my options and spend a little time at various places instead of just relying on one place. If I can just get my blog's pagerank to recover I would prefer to do paid posts since they pay better.

I enjoy discussing various topics on myLot; so whether I'm paid or not, I'd continue participating. As far as I'm concerned, the pay is a bonus.

Hi:Although this has nothing to do with the discussion topic,i'd like to thank you for responding to many of my discussions, i really appreciate it./Yes, it's nice to know some members would stay, even if Mylot wasn't a paying website. but, i'm afraid the membership may significantly decrease(but then again, i'm only going by the responses i've received so far) if they discontinued their pay policy (which i don't believe they will)so,far less members would mean far less discussions. But, now when i think about all this, getting paid here really is a "bonus", since there are lot's of discussion sites that don't pay anything to their members. Thank you for your response.

I'm learning English, so It's a bit difficult for me to writte in English. But I enjoy writting on Mylot because: 1-it pays 2-I'm already learning English. So what would I do? I don't know... There are forums about my interests in Spanish; so I'll probably keep posting on Mylot but not a lot.

I am afraid that if MyLot is no longer paid its users, the quality responses would be decreased, this would make the users leave this site as people would like to be paid intently when they join the discussions. Thus, it is not a good thing if MyLot will not pay for the responses any more.

OK, that's great ,your experience here seems to be a positive one and would remain positive even if you weren't getting paid.the topics interest you and you've also made friends here that is a big plus and it's also what i mentioned as a possible motivator for certain members to stay with Mylot. to those who stay for the reasons you mentioned, getting paid as well is a big bonus.Thank you for your response.

No I would leave the site. That's because there are many great and big forums where there are people that are more fun. Also there are forums I love that are connected to my interests so I'd just spend all my time on those. This site is way too general to have a really close community.

I have been member just recently but already like this place. Some very interesting conversations and very nice people, by and large. I did say money is a bonus to doing what I love to do. Learning from others and at the same time being of help if I am able to.
In short I will stay.

So far it seems most people would leave or come here a lot less if Mylot stopped paying their members, i'm glad you enjoy being here and since you're new here i'd like to welcome you and hope you continue to enjoy being a member. yes, getting paid is a bonus, but it's nice to know some people are learning and enjoy helping ohters, good luck to you and Thank you for your response.
